Is the Character, Gaius portraying anyone specifically mentioned in Scripture or a portrayal of a Roman Centurian in general?
I was struck by the conversation between Matthew and his mother. He needed guidance and he trusted only her. Even though he was her son and he was obviously troubled in spirit, she could not bring herself to attend to his trouble. So they stood face to face, but a thousand miles apart. It is so with us all in the flesh. Without Jesus we are completely alone and separated from each other.
As an autistic person, I really appreciate them making him autistic. I have trouble relating to characters when I watch movies or shows, but The Chosen gave me and countless other autistic people someone to relate to. It's also nice because it helps get rid of the ridiculous myth that autistic people are less religious than other people.
I am having some trouble looking for this episode where the disciples passover feast and talk about who they would have at their table and they mention various ethnic groups from their area. Whoever can help me find this episode will be greatly appreciated.
